Seasonal Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Mid-May to Mid-August)

Are you a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused retail professional looking for a flexible part-time role this Summer? SweetLife Lane, a charming vintage candy and specialty gift shop in White Bear Lake, is seeking a Seasonal Part-Time Sales Associate to help manage daily operations and deliver an exceptional shopping experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Assist with merchandising, stocking, and maintaining store cleanliness.
• Operate the register, handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
• Support seasonal product displays and help execute special promotions.
• Lead by example and assist in training seasonal staff when needed.

Qualifications:

• Retail experience required, preferably in specialty retail or customer-focused environments.
• Strong customer service skills and a passion for creating memorable shopping experiences.
• Reliable and trustworthy, with the ability to work independently.
• Comfortable handling opening/closing duties and problem-solving in a retail setting.
• Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
• Comfortable lifting and carrying boxes (up to 30 lbs) for stocking and receiving shipments.
• Ability to bend, reach, and move around the store as needed for merchandising and stocking.
• Availability to work flexible hours, afternoons/evenings and weekends a must.
